asked: I just have some questions about migraines. Luckily, I don’t get them, however my boyfriend suffers from them on a very regular basis. He usually gets one at least once a week, but it’s likely that he’ll have 2 or 3 before the week is over with. He doesn’t have insurance so he hasn’t gone to the doctor for them since he was a child. Nothing over-the-counter will help, he basically just lies in the bed for the rest of the day throwing up. It’s really beginning to effect our relationship, and lately I’ve become worried that he may have a more serious problem. I’d heard that you usually only get migraines 1-3 times a month but he gets them three times as much. Is there anyone out there who can give me some advice on trying to help deal w/ these and what may help him to feel better???
(Yes, I know the doctor is the best bet but he’s not going to go…..)
